An artist since birth, Cecelia began her professional career in 2003. She worked as a makeup artist for Estee Lauder, Chanel, Benefit, and Bare Minerals. In 2006 she became the cosmetics coordinator, creating sale campaigns and events for new launches. In 2012 she graduated from Regency Beauty with a certificate of Cosmetology.
Shortly after graduation Cecelia began a two year intensive program through the Van Michael Council. Working closely with master stylists, learning the ins and outs of color theory, technique and precision cutting. During this time, she took on extra classes to advance as a master stylist in cut and color.
Cecelia is a published editorial stylist for 303 Magazine. Her work with Carlos Carreon was awarded at the South West hair awards through Denver Fashion Week two years in a row. Her work with The Beauty Underground has had her styling for New York Fashion Week, Denver Fashion Week, and the International Salon Expo..
In 2018, Cecelia became the Artistic Hair Lead for Fashion Week Studios based in Los Angeles California. They host opening day at Paris Fashion week Twice a year. From this position she worked to create an educational platform offering other hair artists the opportunity to break into runway. The hair team now draws students from around the globe to be a part of the elite Paris Fashion Week!
This year Cecelia was recognized at the Southwest Hair Awards as a nominee for hair stylist of the year.
